About the Role
As a Technician II at Penske, you will perform preventative maintenance and repairs on a diverse fleet of vehicles. You will work independently on major and minor repairs, conduct road tests, and complete maintenance tasks. You will also mentor new technicians and continue to develop your own skills.
Responsibilities
- Ensuring vehicles are maintained and safe for customers.
- Performing preventive maintenance services on truck and trailer equipment independently and in a timely manner.
- Repairing and troubleshooting components such as engines, transmissions, differentials, turbochargers, and fuel system components.
- Maintaining a clean and safe work area.
- Utilizing Penske's tools and technologies for repair logging, research, and completion, including basic vehicle diagnostics.
- Acquiring new skills through Penske's technician training.
- Undertaking additional projects and tasks as assigned by a supervisor.
Requirements
- Experienced vehicle technician.
- Ability to work independently.
- Willingness to learn new skills and technologies.
