About the Role

Unity House is seeking a respite/per diem Property Assistant to support our Property Department with compliance and administrative functions. This flexible position is ideal for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently.

Responsibilities

• Review tenant and property files to ensure compliance with New York State Homes and Community Renewal (HCR) standards and requirements.
• Conduct file audits and identify missing or incomplete documentation.
• Process and monitor tenant background checks through HCR systems and procedures.
• Assist with maintaining accurate and organized housing records.
• Support property management staff with administrative tasks related to compliance and occupancy requirements.
• Ensure confidential information is handled appropriately and securely.

Requirements

• Valid and clean NYS driver license
• Ability to maintain confidential records and information.

Skills

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic recordkeeping systems.
