About the Role

As a Product Owner, you will shape digital products, processes, and solutions that create real value for users, organizations, and demanding projects. You are responsible for the product vision, translate requirements into actionable solutions, and bring together subject areas, IT, stakeholders, and external partners. You think situationally about what truly works, rather than just agile or classic.

Responsibilities

• Develop ideas and target images for digital products, processes, and solutions.
• Structure and prioritize requirements and translate them into actionable solutions with stakeholders.
• Accompany digital solutions through various phases, from conception to implementation and further development.
• Plan and coordinate IT and digitalization projects, keeping goals, deadlines, quality, and resources in mind.
• Create transparency regarding progress, dependencies, and open decisions.
• Ensure that concepts become functional solutions together with project participants.
• Gather, question, and structure requirements, and align them with relevant stakeholders.
• Moderate differing interests and drive decisions.
• Accompany changes and support the successful anchoring of new processes and solutions within the organization.
• Assist in evaluating and selecting suitable digital solutions and technologies.
• Support tenders, bid evaluations, and procurement processes as needed.
• Prepare complex topics in an understandable way and support users through workshops, training, and appropriate materials.

Requirements

• Several years of experience in digital projects, IT projects, product development, or comparable roles with personal responsibility.
• Good understanding of users, processes, and technical contexts.
• Ability to structure complexity and drive decisions.
• Very good German and English skills (at least C1 each).
• High willingness to travel (50% presence at the Würzburg site).
