About the Role
This is the first dedicated Revenue Strategy & Operations hire at Serval and a critical priority for the go-to-market team. You will lead strategy and operations for Sales leadership, helping to run the business day to day and make the sales team measurably more productive. You will identify strategic levers to accelerate growth, drive execution, and proactively address future gaps.
Responsibilities
- Set strategic direction and drive execution.
- Partner with Sales leadership to identify high-leverage growth levers and build the case for each.
- Drive forecasting excellence at the rep, segment, and company level.
- Implement a scalable operating cadence and drive follow-through.
- Scope and lead strategic initiatives end to end.
- Improve workflows and process by finding and removing friction in the selling motion.
- Codify sales methodology, qualification standards, and stage definitions.
- Improve GTM systems and data architecture.
- Drive adoption of AI wherever possible.
- Build analytics to explain performance and diagnose/fix gaps.
- Partner with Finance and Central RevOps on capacity planning, quota and territory design, and headcount modeling.
- Build tools to help reps understand and run their own business.
Requirements
- 6-8+ years of experience in Sales Strategy & Operations, Revenue Operations, or Business Operations at a high-growth B2B software company.
- Demonstrated experience driving open-ended initiatives from strategy through execution.
- Strong analytical horsepower: ability to structure ambiguous questions, pull data, spot insights, and land on recommendations.
- Comfort and credibility working with senior sales leadership, reps, and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Judgment about what matters and which initiatives move the business forward.
- Comfort with ambiguity and a bias to build.
- Experience scaling a company from single-digit to nine-figure ARR (bonus).
- Experience with enterprise displacement sales motions (bonus).
- Experience with innovation using AI to drive productivity (bonus).
