About the Role
JMP is seeking an experienced Sales professional to join their EMEA Sales team to sell JMP software products to current and prospective customers. This role involves full sales cycle ownership, from finding new business to closing deals, in a high-volume, multi-tasking environment.
Responsibilities
- Work in a fast-paced, highly transactional B2B sales environment.
- Act as the point of contact for implementing all aspects of territory and account management.
- Fulfill a wide range of requests for information from current and prospective customers.
- Qualify opportunities and identify appropriate resources.
- Generate leads through prospecting, cold-calling, up-selling, and cross-selling.
- Partner with customers to schedule meetings, demos, and make recommendations.
- Collaborate with the JMP field sales organization to position and leverage sales opportunities.
- Ensure all applicable security policies and processes are followed.
Requirements
- 5 years of experience with a combination of inside sales, prospect development, or customer-facing commercial experience.
- Relevant previous experience with a successful track record in the sales of computer software solutions or scientific and engineering hardware.
- Ability to analyze and evaluate territory dynamics and develop a sales plan.
- Ability to communicate technical and business concepts and relate them to JMP software and user needs.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of sales techniques.
- Knowledge of software acquisition cycles and buying influences.
- Proof of Right to work in the UK.
- Fluency in English.
