About the Role
This 12-month trainee program within the Business Line Retail focuses on developing you into an IT Consultant specializing in software quality assurance, requirements engineering, agile development methods, project management, or business process management within the retail sector. You will actively participate in projects for retail companies from the start, taking on responsible IT-related tasks. An experienced team member will mentor you throughout the program, and you will enhance your personal and methodological skills through specialized retail IT training and soft skill coaching. Upon successful completion, you will transition into a permanent role or continue your journey part-time during a Master's degree.
Responsibilities
- Participate in projects for retail companies from the start.
- Take on responsible tasks in the IT environment.
- Develop expertise in software quality assurance, requirements engineering, agile development methods, project management, or business process management.
- Utilize AI-powered tools in daily project work.
- Continuously expand AI competencies.
Requirements
- Completed a Bachelor's degree in (Business) Informatics or a comparable field.
- Ideally possess initial experience in software projects (e.g., internships, thesis work).
- Have a connection to the trade or retail industry.
- Demonstrate strong conceptual and analytical thinking to address technical and methodological questions structurally.
- Show curiosity about Artificial Intelligence.
- Interested in starting a career in retail consulting and developing within an IT-related consulting environment.
- Possess very good German and good English language skills for effective communication.
