About the Role
The Greeter performs various Customer Service activities, including greeting customers, handling merchandise, providing information, distributing promotional materials, and supporting front-end business needs. The role emphasizes a friendly and outgoing demeanor to ensure customers feel welcomed and appreciated.
Responsibilities
- Greets all customers as they enter the store in a friendly and outgoing manner.
- Actively promotes programs including CLUB Membership, VOC, and In-Store Pickup.
- Models brand standard for customer service by presenting a professional image.
- Checks in all customers’ merchandise for return.
- Checks in all Vendor representatives, completing the necessary visitor log information and controlling visitor badges.
- Remains aware of all “Special events” in the store and informs customers of event, sale, or promotion details.
- Provides customers with promotional materials to support special events.
- Ensures entryway and surrounding work area remain clean, tidy, and safe.
- Assists facilitation of customer check-in of all firearms/weapons by notifying the appropriate trained and designated Outfitter.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Excellent organization skills and attention to details.
- Experience in a customer service environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Adaptability to new processes and procedures.
- Excellent self-motivation and initiative while unsupervised.
- Must not accept, possess, or handle a firearm while performing job duties.
