About the Role

Provide financial, administrative, and accounting assistance to The Wall Group London, dealing with a varied work remit including regular financial responsibilities and ad hoc requests. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys getting fully involved in a business and working as part of a busy team, with day-to-day contact with customers, vendors, WNS, and colleagues.

Responsibilities

  • Support with AP duties, including obtaining and processing new talent/vendor set up forms.
  • Ensure all vendors are verified and have completed payment details.
  • Ensure tax documents are received as needed.
  • Prepare fortnightly Model statements and ensure correct allocation of expenses.
  • Prepare payment runs and submit to the Treasury team.
  • Support with AR duties, including obtaining purchase order numbers when required.
  • Respond to billing queries and correct issues that arise.
  • Raise credit notes when required and ensure correct accounting treatment of billing adjustments.
  • Handle portal registrations and regular uploading of invoices to Customer Portals.
  • Support with ad hoc business queries, including preparation of Model statements for Managers and dealing with Manager queries.
  • Assist with the preparation of ad hoc information for business leads.
  • Provide regular billing updates.
  • Perform other ad-hoc tasks to support the wider Fashion Finance team.

Requirements

  • Hands-on exposure to CRM systems.
  • Excellent proficiency in Excel.
  • Excellent attention to detail and numeracy.
  • Good communication, presentation, and relationship building skills.
  • Ability to proactively work in teams.
  • Able to work without close supervision on business-as-usual tasks.
  • Must be flexible, adaptable, and willing to take on ad hoc/new tasks as required by the business.
  • Organized with an ability to prioritize, multitask, and meet strict deadlines.
  • Interest in the Fashion industry.
