About the Role

Micron Agritech is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented QA Technician to support our growing customer base across Australia and New Zealand. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of quality and accuracy for our diagnostic tools and testing processes, contributing directly to our mission of revolutionising the animal health sector.

Responsibilities

  • Review and analyse results generated by our diagnostic platform, ensuring accuracy and consistency for customers across Australia and New Zealand
  • Conduct quality control tests to verify the performance and reliability of our diagnostic tools
  • Collaborate closely with the research and development team to identify and troubleshoot any issues or anomalies
  • Maintain detailed records of quality control tests and results
  • Participate in the development and improvement of standard operating procedures (SOPs) for quality assurance
  • Contribute towards data annotation for the training of advanced AI models

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in a relevant scientific field, such as biology, chemistry, or a related discipline
  • Strong attention to detail and a meticulous approach to work
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, startup environment
  • Familiarity with quality control processes and procedures
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Willingness to travel across Australia and New Zealand as required
  • Full driving licence
  • Previous experience working in a laboratory environment, preferably in testing or diagnostics
  • Experience in parasitology or a related field
  • Familiarity with the Australian and New Zealand veterinary or agricultural sector
