About the Role
The Associate Director of Programme Management will collaborate with Programme Leads and the project team to deliver, maintain, and drive adoption of solutions that provide agencies with a competitive advantage through access to internal business data intelligence using best-in-class systems.
Responsibilities
- Develop a program of works for existing and new systems supporting WPP Media’s goals and best practices for maintaining internal business data on clients, in conjunction with Programme Leads and the Head of Global Business Systems.
- Translate project requirements into tangible deliverables and solutions, focusing on cost and time to deliver.
- Own project planning to achieve program objectives.
- Contribute to solution design with a user-centric approach, considering end-user engagement and value.
- Collaborate with external vendors, internal team members, and stakeholders to allocate and prioritize workload for business goals and incremental value delivery.
- Continuously prioritize the backlog to ensure the team focuses on the most impactful areas first.
- Define goals, timelines, and potential risks.
- Maintain clear project plans and monitor progress.
- Conduct testing to ensure product functionality and quality standards.
- Assist in product implementation, including user onboarding and data migration, managing updates gradually to minimize disruption.
- Manage change and adoption throughout the business, both at launch and ongoing.
- Ensure users are enabled and trained, including designing supporting materials, user guides, and demonstrations.
- Gather user and stakeholder feedback to identify areas for improvement.
- Derive actionable insights from usage metrics to inform product and process improvements for greater adoption.
- Assist in developing reporting solutions to democratize data captured in applications.
- Contribute to the overall vision, product goals, roadmaps, and backlog for the assigned product portfolio.
Requirements
- Experience working with internal business teams, managing core in-house project teams, and external suppliers.
- Proven experience in a platform, product, or technology service deployment and enablement role.
- Deep understanding of the product development lifecycle and change management methodologies.
- Ability to communicate with and understand cross-functional, highly matrixed, multi-geographical teams.
- Highly effective communication and interpersonal abilities, with a focus on collaboration, consensus, and relationship building.
- Exceptional resourcefulness and quick, practical thinking in a demanding environment.
- A strong and flexible work ethic; able to work under pressure and juggle multiple responsibilities to meet deadlines and deliver results.
- Proficiency in project management software such as Asana, Wrike, Jira/Confluence, Azure DevOps.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) for delivering technical products and data solutions.
- Experience in AI tools and processes, including Machine Learning and Gen AI.
- Working knowledge of Power BI or similar reporting solutions software is advantageous.
- Experience in project/change management.
- Excellent communicator with highly developed stakeholder management and influencing skills, applicable across C-suite to development team members.
- Excellent listener who can balance multiple perspectives and translate them into action.
- Highly analytical and data-driven.
- A “can-do” attitude to achieve objectives.
