About the Role
We are the world’s leading illustrated non-fiction Publisher seeking a Junior Business Analyst who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is ready to make an impact to join our finance team. Reporting into the Head of Finance, you will be supporting in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
Responsibilities
- Assist the UK Head of Finance and UK sales team to prepare the bottom up, title based, annual budget and re-forecasts for the DK UK business.
- Complete month end processes for UK and Corporate functions including reconciliations, preparation of provisions and accruals; and review of overheads.
- Support the preparation of the biannual channel profitability reporting, analysing the performance of key customers and present to the UK sales team.
- Undertake ad hoc analysis as required for the DK Executive and Senior Management teams.
- Provide analytical support to the UK Sales, Marketing and PR teams as required.
Requirements

- Enthusiastic, confident, and able to work independently as well as part of a team with a can-do attitude.
- Excellent communication skills, able to explain financial concepts without jargon.
