About the Role

Lead and execute the business events program, including conferences, sponsorships, meetings, roadshows, roundtables, and webinars, delivered in person, virtual, and hybrid formats. This program aims to increase brand and investment solution awareness and retention, while also supporting marketing initiatives across intermediary and institutional audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Independently manage complex events, budgets, suppliers, and stakeholders from planning through delivery and evaluation.
  • Develop creative event experiences and marketing activations aligned with business and marketing objectives, using AI and emerging tools.
  • Negotiate standard event contracts.
  • Complete expense management, budget reconciliation, and event analysis.
  • Track event participant/invitee/stakeholder engagement and contribute to management reports.
  • Manage content development, navigate stakeholder and compliance requirements, and oversee content review and approval processes.
  • Develop relationships with legal, compliance, and other internal contacts.
  • Confirm event alignment with common policies and business unit-specific criteria.
  • Prepare materials and conduct vendor and site research.
  • Book venues and complete related tasks.
  • Support the development of proposals for event vendors.
  • Execute event planning and coordination activities, including on-site management.
  • Utilize engagement tools to enhance client experience and drive data.
  • Lead the organization of the virtual event program, including creation and reporting.
  • Work with company platforms and software systems, including event platforms, procurement, compliance, enablement, data collection & analytics, CRM, and social media platforms.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of relevant work experience.
  • Event or Marketing experience at a financial services company or equivalent.
  • Strong interest in the event and asset management industry.
  • Knowledge of asset management industry and business practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • MS Office proficiency.
  • Team-oriented.
  • Self-motivated, creative, responsible, with excellent attention to detail.
  • Creative thinker and problem solver.
  • An idea-generator with the ability to execute.
  • Ability to work across multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Stakeholder management and interpersonal skills.
