About the Role

Help unlock the full potential of the cannabis plant and its ingredients and make them usable for people. As a Quality Control Manager, you are responsible for the quality and complete documentation of our batches – from production to release. Your focus is on process safety, CMO collaboration, and compliance with GMP/GDP and AMG. You evaluate quality-relevant data, prepare releases and inspections, and further develop our QA processes.

Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain process instructions, specifications, and certificates of analysis.
  • Implement QA measures and further develop existing processes.
  • Compile complete, traceable batch documentation.
  • Prepare product releases and manage the stability program and OOS processing.
  • Collaborate closely with CMOs, familiarize yourself with their manufacturing and testing processes, and review their documentation for suitability, completeness, and accuracy.
  • Support regulatory inspections and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collect quality-relevant data in a structured manner, evaluate it statistically, prepare it for reviews, and derive process optimizations.
  • Create quality-related statements and act as the primary contact for quality issues.
  • Communicate with contract laboratories and authorities.
  • Coordinate sample shipments and create laboratory orders.
  • Manage validation-relevant projects, including documentation.
  • Support the auditing and qualification of suppliers and service providers.

Requirements

  • Completed degree in Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Technology, Biotechnology, Chemistry, or a comparable natural science.
  • At least two years of experience in quality control or a comparable function in the pharmaceutical or life science industry.
  • Sound knowledge of GMP/GDP, AMWHV, and AMG, as well as experience with regulatory inspections and the establishment of new processes.
  • Experience in structured data collection and statistical evaluation of quality-relevant data.
  • Analytical, structured, and detail-oriented way of working – even with large amounts of data and complex processes.
  • Proficient in MS Office and digital QA tools.
  • Strong communication skills in exchanges with internal and external interfaces.
  • Solution-oriented work approach.
  • Fluent German (min. C1) and good English (min. B2).
