About the Role
Supporting financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes within the finance team of a leading illustrated non-fiction publisher.
Responsibilities
- Assist the UK Head of Finance and UK sales team in preparing the annual budget and re-forecasts for the DK UK business.
- Complete month-end processes, including reconciliations, provisions, accruals, and overhead reviews.
- Support the preparation of biannual channel profitability reporting and analyze key customer performance.
- Conduct ad hoc analysis for Executive and Senior Management teams.
- Provide analytical support to the UK Sales, Marketing, and PR teams.
Requirements
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Financially and commercially aware.
- Ability to work to multiple deadlines, projects, and workloads.
- Enthusiastic, confident, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills, able to explain financial concepts without jargon.
- Must be within a reasonable commuting distance of London.
