About the Role

Seeking an experienced Network Engineer with strong expertise in SRv6, MPLS, IPv6, BGP, ISIS, EVPN, and Service Provider Networks to support Optus network transformation and modernization initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Provide L3 support and drive RCA for critical incidents.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in IP/MPLS Service Provider networks
• Strong hands-on experience with SRv6 (Segment Routing IPv6)
• Strong hands-on experience with MPLS & Segment Routing
• Strong hands-on experience with BGP, ISIS, OSPF
• Strong hands-on experience with EVPN/VXLAN
• Strong hands-on experience with IPv4 & IPv6
• Strong hands-on experience with Traffic Engineering and QoS
• Experience on Nokia 7750 SR / SR OS
• Experience on Cisco ASR9K / NCS / IOS-XR
• Experience on Juniper (preferred)
• Network automation experience using Python, Ansible, YANG, NETCONF/RESTCONF
• Experience in carrier-grade backbone networks, network transformation, and migration programs
