About the Role
This role offers a highly visible opportunity to shape the finance agenda for egg Power, a fast-growing renewable energy platform. You will provide strategic insight, commercial challenge, and financial leadership to support ambitious growth plans, working closely with senior leaders. The position involves ownership of critical finance activities and leading key initiatives, offering the chance to build scalable finance capabilities and influence major business decisions.
Responsibilities
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and performance insight activities for egg Power.
- Act as a deputy to the Finance Director, providing recommendations on capital allocation, financing, and transaction matters.
- Lead finance workstreams for acquisitions and strategic transactions, including due diligence and post-acquisition integration.
- Own cash flow forecasting and liquidity planning to support construction projects, acquisitions, and operational assets.
- Develop financial models and planning tools to support funding, valuation, investment, and growth decisions.
- Drive continuous improvement across planning, reporting, and forecasting through technology, automation, and AI.
Requirements
- ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualification (or equivalent) with strong post-qualification experience.
- Proven experience operating at Senior Manager level and leading complex finance workstreams with minimal supervision.
- Experience within project finance, infrastructure, renewable energy, M&A, or other capital-intensive environments.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to influence senior audiences.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, combined with strong analytical capability.
- Experience within renewable energy and energy transition businesses.
- Exposure to private capital, portfolio company, or investor-backed environments.
- Experience supporting financing transactions and lender engagement.
- Experience developing financial models for investment, valuation, and capital allocation decisions.
- Experience driving finance transformation, process improvement, or automation initiatives.
