About the Role
As a Manager in the Governance, Risk and Compliance team, you'll help clients navigate intricate regulatory requirements and build robust frameworks to protect and strengthen their operations across diverse industries.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.
- Execute planning, testing, reviewing, and reporting for large and complex client engagements focused on governance, risk, and compliance.
- Design, implement, and deliver digitally enabled assurance, compliance, regulatory, and risk management frameworks tailored to client needs.
- Develop risk management strategies to enhance processes and controls, driving compliance and mitigating potential risks.
- Identify key areas for risk assessment and process improvement by understanding client strategy, objectives, control frameworks, and regulatory environments.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with team members, fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Coach and mentor teams to encourage professional growth and skill development.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams internally and engage with clients on transformation programs to deliver tailored solutions.
Requirements
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey complex information and interact with stakeholders.
- Strong time management abilities to balance multiple projects and meet deadlines efficiently.
- Well-developed research and problem-solving skills to craft effective strategies and solutions.
- Proactive and adaptable approach to navigating a dynamic risk and regulatory landscape.
- Proven experience in governance, risk management, and compliance, especially in leading large transformation projects (preferred but not essential).
- Demonstrated ability to guide and contribute to projects across various scales, showcasing leadership skills.
- Familiarity with developing and implementing risk management strategies within complex regulatory frameworks.
