About the Role
This position is part of the Private Credit Investment team, based in London, with a regional focus on the UK and Benelux markets. Responsibilities cover all aspects of direct lending investing, including sourcing, due diligence, execution, and ongoing portfolio monitoring.
Responsibilities
- Conduct investment due diligence, including reviewing reports, interviewing experts, and attending meetings and site visits.
- Perform financial analysis, including detailed LBO modeling and scenario testing.
- Prepare investment memoranda and participate in Investment Committee discussions.
- Engage in portfolio management activities, monitoring asset performance and assessing waiver/amendment requests.
- Assist senior team members in building relationships with sponsors and external parties, with an opportunity to expand professional networks.
Requirements
- 2-5 years of relevant work experience in a buyside investment role (private credit/private equity), debt advisory, management consulting, investment banking (leveraged finance, M&A), or transaction services.
- Passion for investing in mid-market companies.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to develop close relationships with UK and Benelux industry participants.
- Proficient in Excel with demonstrated ability to build and develop LBO models.
- Excellent academic record with a Bachelor's or Master's degree from a top UK university or equivalent institution.
- Fluent oral and written English skills.
- Dutch language skills are advantageous.
- Must have the right to work in the UK.
