About the Role

The Gemeindepsychiatrische Verbund und seine Arbeitsprojekte (GPVA) of the Hoffnungstaler Stiftung Lobetal is represented in Berlin with two residential facilities, a therapeutic shared living community, and two employment day centers (BTS) for people with mental health challenges. We are seeking your collaboration in the residential facility in Berlin - Charlottenburg Nord, near Richard-Wagner-Platz, as soon as possible.

Responsibilities

Support and promotion in coping with daily life, finding and maintaining a daily structure
Support with job and employment search
Appropriate handling of illness, crises, relapses
Creation of support plans and documentation
Coordination of all necessary personal services

Requirements

Completed studies as a social worker, social pedagogue (m/f/d) or equivalent qualifications
Experience or desire for professionally sound interaction with mentally ill people
Curiosity about the life stories of our clients
Acceptance of and professional handling of self-endangerment and endangerment of others
Service design according to the needs of the supported people in coordination with the team (daytime shift work)
Interest in personal development, including through supervision, further training, and continuing education
