About the Role
Woven by Toyota is dedicated to transforming Toyota into a mobility company for the next 100 years. Inspired by a history of invention for others, our mission is to expand the definition of mobility, enhance its societal contribution, and challenge the status quo with human-centered innovation. We operate across four pillars: AD/ADAS, Arene (a vehicle software production platform for SDVs), Woven City (a mobility testbed), and Cloud & AI (digital infrastructure). We are united in our pursuit of a "zero-accident society" and "mass production of happiness."

About the Company
- Woven by Toyota is contributing to Toyota's transformation into a mobility company for the first time in 100 years.
- Our mission, inspired by a history of inventing for others, is to expand the definition of mobility, extend how mobility contributes to society, and challenge the norms of mobility with human-centered innovation.
- We operate across four pillars: AD/ADAS, Arene (a vehicle software production platform for SDVs), Woven City (a mobility testbed), and Cloud & AI (digital infrastructure).
- Essential business functions support these teams' implementation, and together we strive to realize a "zero-accident society" and "mass production of happiness."
- Toyota is redefining the meaning of mobility, moving people, goods, information, and energy, and continuously challenging the norms of mobility.
- Woven City serves as a testbed for creating and testing various mobilities, aiming for the mass production of happiness with the concepts of a human-centered city, a demonstration experiment city, and an unfinished city.
- Woven City brings together diverse individuals who share a passion for future mobility. Inventors, residents, and visitors test various products and services while living in a city-shaped testbed where people, mobility, and social infrastructure are interconnected.
- Our Digital Twin Platform team, as part of the Social Infrastructure/Common Platform core team under Woven City, is responsible for realizing Woven City's vision: "Expand mobility. Enhance humanity. Engage society."
- By developing a robust software platform, we enable inventors and business owners to "test" their products in a virtual environment before deploying them in the actual Woven City. Simultaneously, we provide an analytics foundation that supports decision-making based on both operational data collected from the real city (resident daily life, traffic dynamics, energy consumption) and simulation results.
- The Digital Twin Platform is still in its early stages of growth, offering a valuable opportunity to be involved in the co-evolution of the platform and commercial strategy, influencing not only "what to build" but also "how to deliver to market" and "what business models to explore."
Equal Opportunity
- We provide equal employment opportunities and respect diversity.
- Personal information received will be used solely for recruitment and onboarding purposes. Please refer to our Personal Information Policy for details.
