About the Role

We are building a discovery team for the phase before the roadmap is fixed, where ideas are still vague and the right direction has not been chosen yet. You take rough ideas and messy customer problems and turn them into one tangible product direction a team can build. You lead discovery, build strong prototypes, and help teams decide what to build, test, change, or stop. This is not a delivery role. You move across topics as the work changes and stay hands-on throughout.

Responsibilities

Design with high craft, turning concepts into high-fidelity prototypes, product flows, and interfaces that feel like a real product.
Turn ideas into bold concepts, shaping strong ideas from vague input and designing for the whole product.
Lead early discovery by framing unclear problems, setting hypotheses, and guiding teams from initial questions to a clear product direction.
Facilitate alignment by running workshops, design sprints, and co-creation sessions with Product, Research, Engineering, and Business.

Requirements

A maker and a doer who prioritizes building over talking.
Excellent design craft with deep knowledge of design basics and high visual quality.
Ability to articulate design choices and their impact effectively.
5-6+ years in product design with strong discovery and design work experience.
A portfolio showcasing discovery-led case studies with strong thinking and high-quality design.
Strong product thinking and collaboration skills across Product, Research, Engineering, and Business.
High standards and low ego, with the ability to challenge weak ideas constructively.
Comfortable with uncertainty and working without a clean brief.
Fluency in English and German (C1+).
