About the Role

As a Houseperson, you are a key player in our Housekeeping Team, assisting room and public area attendants. You will deliver requested items to guests' rooms, ensure room attendants have a steady supply of linens, towels, and amenities, and handle the collection of used linens for laundering. Your flexibility and willingness to help ensure a smooth and enjoyable guest experience.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize and promptly fulfill guest requests, including delivering amenities, beds, cots, blankets, and pillows, and collecting items from guest rooms.
• Collaborate with the housekeeping team to ensure tasks are completed in a timely manner.
• Gather used linens from guest rooms and transport to the designated appropriate area.
• Assist with cleaning guest rooms and public area spaces as requested.
• Handle chemicals and cleaning materials safely, respect guest privacy and security, and promptly report maintenance issues.
• Provide a welcoming service to all guests, assisting with questions, concerns, and offering precise details about property amenities and features.

Requirements

• Warm and welcoming communication style.
• Eye for detail and efficient work ethic with good time management.
• Ability to perform a physical role, which may involve using internal and external staircases, open pathways, and pushing heavy trolleys and equipment.
• Willingness to collaborate with colleagues from various backgrounds.
• Reliable transportation.
• Availability to work a variety of shifts including weekends and public holidays.
