About the Role
As the first hire in the Talent Team, you will own recruitment cycles from intake to offer acceptance. You will have significant influence in shaping future hiring practices within a fast-growing startup environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage recruitment for open positions across the full cycle: intake, sourcing, screening, interviews, debriefs, offers, and closing.
- Proactively source candidates by identifying, engaging, and persuading potential hires.
- Manage inbound applications, including reviewing, conducting initial interviews, and providing feedback.
- Collaborate closely with hiring managers to refine job profiles, establish evaluation criteria, and facilitate debrief sessions.
- Propose and implement improvements to the interview loop process.
- Define and track key recruiting metrics, reporting on progress and identifying potential roadblocks.
- Manage and optimize the Ashby setup, including pipeline management, templates, interview guides, and reporting.
- Ensure recruitment processes adhere to the advertised timelines, aiming for completion in under two weeks.
Requirements
- In-house recruitment experience across the full cycle, including closing candidates.
- Agency recruitment experience followed by an in-house transition is also acceptable.
- Fluent German (C1+) and good English (B2+) language skills.
- Demonstrated sourcing capabilities, including search logic, outreach strategies, and outcomes.
- Ability to analyze funnel metrics and identify areas for improvement.
- Proficiency in using AI tools for automation of repetitive tasks.
- Strong written communication skills for effective candidate outreach and professional rejections.
