About the Role
As an AI Technologist, you will help shape strategic conversations around AI and Data, ensuring complex technology is accessible, meaningful, and deliverable. You will partner closely with Sales, Account Teams, and our AI Centre of Excellence & Execution (CoEE) to craft tailored strategies that turn vision into reality. This is a pre-sales and advisory position with strong opportunities for leadership, visibility, and innovation.
Responsibilities
- Manage data architecture projects and guide teams to ensure milestones and outcomes are delivered successfully.
- Provide clear updates on progress, risks, and insights to senior stakeholders.
- Work closely with data architects and analysts to deliver high-quality data solutions using industry best practices.
- Participate in defining data requirements and shaping organisational data strategies.
- Implement strong data governance, quality frameworks, and standards to ensure accuracy, consistency, and trust.
- Contribute to data security and compliance initiatives across projects.
- Support the creation of data roadmaps aligned to standards and organisational goals.
- Mentor and empower junior colleagues, helping them develop confidence in data architecture principles.
Requirements
- Must be eligible to meet UK Government and contractual personnel security requirements.
- Must have the right to work in the United Kingdom.
- Some roles may also be subject to nationality requirements where these are necessary to meet UK Government or contractual security obligations.
Skills
- Experience in AI / Data solutioning, pre-sales, consulting, AI product roles, or AI-focused innovation.
- Knowledge within the Finance Services or Aerospace and Defence sector.
- Familiarity with AI/ML frameworks, Data platforms, and Cloud ecosystems (Azure, AWS, GCP).
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business value.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, especially with senior leaders.
- Experience collaborating with both sales and delivery teams.
