About the Role

Responsibilities

• Manage a large portfolio of audit clients.
• Lead valuable discussions with clients by maintaining and developing technical knowledge.
• Confidently discuss business challenges and needs with clients.
• Contribute fresh ideas and go beyond expectations.

Requirements

• Professional qualification (ACA, ICAS, CA, ACCA or CIPFA) with post-qualification experience.
• Experience managing audits of public sector bodies.
• Experience dealing with complex technical matters.
• Project management experience.
• Experience of IFRS and auditing listed companies would be beneficial.

Skills

• Excellent knowledge of UK GAAP / FRS102
• Extensive experience of using audit software and Microsoft packages
• Ability to confidently discuss business challenges and needs
• Interest in maintaining and developing technical knowledge
• Experience managing audits of public sector bodies
• Experience dealing with complex technical matters
• Project management experience
• Experience of IFRS and auditing listed companies
