About the Role
As a Manufacturing Manager at P&G, you will be a critical leader ensuring our globally recognized products are produced to the highest standards. This role offers unparalleled exposure to advanced manufacturing, focusing on Process Engineering, Converting & Packaging, and Control Systems, alongside comprehensive Project Management. You'll lead impactful projects, guide diverse teams, and shape the future of consumer goods production.
Responsibilities
- Lead identification and elimination of losses, design and implement innovative solutions to streamline processes, improve OEE, and enhance product quality using data analytics.
- Lead development of web-processing and equipment solutions, champion 3D modeling and mechatronics, and drive optimization of packaging lines for efficiency and cost.
- Lead design, development, and implementation of advanced automation, control networks, robotics, and industrial software solutions.
- Lead capital projects (typically $2M+) from concept to handoff, managing scope, schedule, budget, and deliverables with cross-functional teams.
- Drive HS&E and Quality standards, build long-term capability by coaching teams, and lead adoption of digital solutions, robotics, and control systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in an Engineering or related technical discipline (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Chemical, Industrial & Systems, Manufacturing, Operations Management).
- 0-5 years of relevant work experience (internships, co-ops, research experience, academic projects count!).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify root causes, develop comprehensive technical solutions, and interpret data to drive decisions.
- A strong technical curiosity and understanding to proactively develop new approaches to complex problems.
- A strong desire and demonstrated capability to lead projects, manage timelines/budgets, and drive results in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated leadership potential and experience, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders (from operators to senior management).
- Ability to quickly embrace and adapt to changes in project scope, schedule and cost.
- Proactive, self-driven, and eager to make a tangible impact.
- Willingness to relocate throughout your career.
- Ability to travel 10-25% as business needs dictate.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency with data analysis tools (Power BI, Tableau, SQL) and continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma).
- Experience with project management tools and concepts.
- Strong understanding of controls, automation, robotics, or industrial networks.
- Proven expertise in Process, Converting/Packaging, or Control Systems Engineering.
