About the Role

As the lead analyst, you will determine the optimal underwriting strategy for your business area, performing complex analysis using model outputs and insights to propose winning strategies. You will present recommendations, gain leadership buy-in, and guide junior analysts. This role will evolve into people leadership, joining the Capital One Leads program to develop leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the lead analyst in underwriting and valuations, overseeing complex analyses and guiding junior team members.
• Lead and develop a high-performing team of analysts, providing coaching and removing barriers.
• Create and present strategic recommendations to senior leadership, implement, monitor, and improve strategies.
• Determine the strategic roadmap for the team and collaborate across the underwriting and valuations team to lead change.
• Utilize technical analytical skills, including SQL and Python, to complete analyses.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in business analysis, with a proven history of leveraging analytical skills to influence strategic decisions.
• At least 1 year of experience managing high-impact projects.
• Experience in technical analysis and coding, including presenting analytical information through slides and memos.

Salary/Compensations

• $157,400 - $179,600
• Eligible to earn performance-based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es).
