About the Role
As an IT Solutions Engineer (Google Cloud) within N26 Internal IT, you will be the primary architect, engineer, and guardian of our Google Workspace and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) corporate ecosystem. You will bridge the gap between corporate productivity, identity management, and cloud infrastructure, ensuring our global workforce is secure, highly automated, and empowered by next-generation AI integrations.
Responsibilities
- Manage the full lifecycle of our enterprise Google Workspace organization.
- Design and maintain complex GCP project structures, organizational units (OUs), Cloud Identity, and Chrome Enterprise across the company.
- Build robust, custom automation workflows to eliminate manual overhead.
- Leverage Google Apps Script, Python, and REST APIs to integrate Workspace with internal tools, HRIS platforms, and Identity providers.
- Lead the rollout, adoption, and optimization of Gemini Enterprise.
- Design and enforce Data Loss Prevention (DLP) rules, Context-Aware Access (CAA), and secure BYOD policies.
- Serve as the technical owner for Google Vault, defining data retention policies, executing legal holds, and leading matter-based exports.
Requirements
- Deep, hands-on experience administering Google Workspace at an enterprise scale.
- Solid foundational knowledge of GCP (IAM hierarchies, Service Accounts, VPCs, and Organization Policies).
- Proven track record of automating repetitive IT workflows using Python, JavaScript, or Google Apps Script.
- Experience interacting with RESTful APIs.
- Practical experience or strong familiarity using Terraform to manage SaaS or cloud environments.
- Deep understanding of modern identity management, SAML/OIDC protocols, and Zero Trust security architectures.
- Proven experience configuring Chrome as a secure enterprise browser, including Chrome Enterprise Premium security controls.
- Familiarity with compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, SOC2).
- Familiarity with the operational workflows of Google Vault for legal and audit discovery.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical requirements into user-friendly solutions.
