About the Role
As a Product Manager for Omnibus Operations, you will be responsible for processing extensive analytical tasks to ensure daily customer-oriented bus services that comply with public transport plans and transport contracts. You will also be responsible for designing the production timetable for bus line services, considering economic and operational aspects, coordinating timetable changes with service planning, and evaluating them for operational resource needs and economic efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Processing extensive analytical tasks for daily customer-oriented bus services.
- Ensuring compliance with public transport plans and transport contracts.
- Designing the production timetable for bus line services, considering economic and operational aspects.
- Coordinating timetable changes with service planning.
- Evaluating timetable changes for operational resource needs and economic efficiency.
- Analyzing influences that hinder traffic flow and deriving public transport-friendly remedial measures.
- Conducting traffic situation analyses.
- Determining, checking, and evaluating short-term demand adjustments for bus services.
- Conducting and evaluating systematic surveys to determine traffic-relevant key figures.
- Commenting on customer feedback regarding planned deviations from the regular timetable, analyzing feedback, and deriving measures.
Requirements
- Completed training as a specialist in operations or a qualified professional in transport & mobility, or comparable, several years of professional experience.
- Knowledge of the Berlin Road Traffic Act (Berliner Straßengesetz).
- Knowledge of the VBB's route network.
- Knowledge of the German Road Traffic Regulations (StVO).
- Knowledge of the Social Code Book IX (SGB IX).
- Knowledge of the Works Constitution Act (PersVG).
- Knowledge of the State Emancipation Act (LGG).
- Knowledge of the Ordinance on the Operation of Buses (BOKraft).
- Commitment, team orientation, networked thinking, and persuasiveness.
- Flexibility, good self-management, and a high standard of quality.

Salary/Compensations
- €4,264.57 - €4,725.99 per month (Entgeltgruppe 10 TV-N Berlin)
