About the Role
This role involves assisting in creating a company our residents love, acting as the face of the People and Culture team for employees across a portfolio of New South Wales North homes. It's a diverse position where you might coach leaders on team engagement one day and advise on sensitive investigations the next.
Responsibilities
- Lead people & culture initiatives aligned with the broader people strategy
- Use your ability to coach and develop employees at all levels to build leadership capability
- Take a balanced, pragmatic and human centered approach to complex IR and ER matters
- Bring a deep understanding of how to interpret and apply industrial instruments
- Drive transformational change; collaborate on projects to embed People & Culture initiatives into operations and ensure success and sustainability of new practices
- Be the valued partner to key stakeholders with an adaptable style that builds strong and trusted stakeholder relationships
- Facilitate workshops, training and education to home-based employees at all levels in a creative, and interactive way that makes learning fun
Requirements
- Demonstrated application of partnering skills in a P&C/HR Business Partner role
- Experience working in a shared service model
- Demonstrated capability in coaching and developing leaders to create thriving workplace cultures and build autonomy in people leadership
- Ability to create positive working relationships and influence across a broad range of stakeholders
- Experience delivering change initiatives into the business and supporting leaders implement change
- Confidence to facilitate training and leadership workshops
- Demonstrated ability in navigating complex ER matters within best practice framework
- Demonstrated ability to operate in a fast-paced and often ambiguous environment
- Ability to travel as operationally required and for team development
- All shortlisted applicants will need to pass the required background checks
- During the influenza season, all staff are required to provide evidence of a current influenza vaccination
