About the Role
Lead building automation projects, contributing to innovative and efficient solutions. This role involves technical planning, project management, and team support within a dynamic engineering firm.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage construction projects in building automation (HOAI LP1-LP9).
- Perform technical planning for automation and MSR systems in new and existing buildings.
- Manage projects, commissioning, and ensure quality assurance.
- Develop automation concepts, create standard GA solutions, and prepare specifications.
- Generate technical documentation, MSR schematics, and function lists.
- Coordinate with clients, architects, planners, and subcontractors.
- Support client consultations, contract negotiations, and project controlling.
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to team members.
Requirements
- Completed degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, Building Automation, or a comparable field is advantageous.
- Several years of professional experience in planning and project management of building automation systems.
- In-depth knowledge of MSR technology, GA systems, and communication protocols (e.g., KNX, BACnet, Modbus).
- Experience with CAD software (TRIC, AutoCAD) and proficiency in MS Office.
- Strong communication skills, organizational talent, and initiative.
- Good command of German and English, both written and spoken.
- Basic knowledge of calculation, HOAI, VOB, and technical standards.
- Willingness to travel (primarily in Northern Germany).
