  • Validate market acceptance, customer value, price acceptance, and go-to-market hypotheses based on PoCs/MVPs and customer feedback, providing recommendations for pricing, packaging, and go-to-market strategies.
  • Create go-to-market plans, launch plans, positioning materials, messaging documents, customer-facing proposal materials, sales and partner enablement materials, and internal/external communication materials.
  • Lead launch preparation, external communications, sales and partner enablement, and post-launch improvement activities toward commercialization in collaboration with product, engineering, business development, communications, and external partners.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of hands-on experience in product marketing, product planning, business development, new business development, go-to-market strategy, or related fields.
  • Experience identifying and structuring customer pain points, adoption needs, adoption barriers, and purchasing/decision-making processes through interviews and discussions with prospective customers, existing customers, and partners.
  • Experience developing hypotheses for ambiguous business or product challenges, and validating and improving them based on customer feedback and market insights.
  • Experience developing value propositions, product messaging, key use cases, and customer-facing selling points based on customer pain points and market needs.
  • Experience creating materials required for internal and external decision-making and alignment, such as proposal materials, sales materials, partner-facing materials, positioning documents, internal alignment materials, and executive-level presentations.
  • Experience driving projects in collaboration with multiple stakeholders, including product, engineering, business development, communications, legal, finance, external partners, and other relevant teams.

About the Company

  • Woven by Toyota is enabling Toyota’s once-in-a-century transformation into a mobility company.
  • Inspired by a legacy of innovating for the benefit of others, our mission is to challenge the current state of mobility through human-centric innovation — expanding what “mobility” means and how it serves society.
  • Our work centers on four pillars: AD/ADAS, our autonomous driving and advanced driver assist technologies; Arene, our software development platform for software-defined vehicles; Woven City, a test course for mobility; and Cloud & AI, the digital infrastructure powering our collaborative foundation.
  • Toyota is redefining what it means to move. We're challenging the current state of mobility by enhancing the movement of people, goods, information and energy.
  • Centered around three core concepts - A Living Laboratory™, Human-Centered, and Ever Evolving City™ - Woven City serves as a test course for mobility to fulfill our purpose of well-being for all.
  • We do this by bringing together a diverse community of people with a shared passion for the future of mobility to co-create, develop and refine innovative products and services.
  • This cross-section of social infrastructure, mobility, and people provides a unique opportunity for inventors, residents and visitors to interact seamlessly with new technologies throughout daily life in an environment that emulates a real city.
  • You will join a new product development team focused on creating EV and energy services that connect mobility, charging infrastructure, and energy management.
  • This team offers a unique opportunity to turn Toyota’s mobility assets and Woven City’s Living Laboratory™ environment into scalable businesses, directly contributing to Woven by Toyota’s mission to expand the movement of people, goods, information, and energy.
