About the Role

Join Lion as a Senior SAP Developer to build, enhance, and support applications within one of Australia's largest and most modern SAP environments. This role balances new development and operational excellence, focusing on innovative solutions and ensuring the stability and performance of the SAP landscape.

Responsibilities

• Develop new SAP applications, enhancements, and continuous improvement initiatives supporting Lion’s business strategy.
• Build solutions across SAP S/4HANA, ABAP, and SAP BTP Integration Suite (CPI), aligned to Clean Core principles.
• Solve complex technical issues and contribute to the stability and performance of the production environment.
• Partner with cross-functional squads to deliver projects and continuous improvement using agile and DevOps methodologies.
• Explore new technologies and identify improved methods for designing, building, and supporting SAP solutions.
• Coach developers and delivery partners, sharing knowledge and enhancing SAP development capabilities within the team.

Requirements

• Expert ABAP development capability and strong hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA.
• Experience with SAP BTP Integration Suite (CPI) and building enterprise integrations.
• Experience across application development and production support, with the ability to build solutions independently and troubleshoot complex issues.
• Strong technical judgment and a commitment to quality, operational stability, and continuous improvement.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Willingness to share knowledge generously and support the development of peers and delivery partners.
• Experience within an end-user environment and exposure to a broad SAP technology landscape is highly regarded.
• Curiosity and a willingness to continue learning are important.
