About the Role
John Holland is seeking a Logistics Manager for the Sydney Metro West Linewide Project. This role involves managing warehouse stock, coordinating site transportation, and handling financial and administrative tasks.
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee warehouse stock.
- Manage and arrange transportation to and from site.
- Manage financial and administrative tasks.
- Read and understand financial reporting.
- Reduce and measure cost savings.
- Update and initiate processes and procedures.
- Manage asset and inventory management systems.
- Develop or revise strategic direction for the project.
- Manage risk and reporting.
- Audit compliance.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in a similar position.
- Proven experience in a logistics or site coordination role on major infrastructure or construction projects.
- Strong understanding of site operations, plant movements, and material coordination.
- Experience working in complex, multi-contractor environments.
- Ability to read and interpret site plans, staging, and logistics plans.
- Strong focus on safety, compliance, and risk management.
- Excellent coordination and communication skills.
- Current driver’s licence (essential).
- Flexibility to work across multiple sites and shifts as required.
