About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Compliance Manager to join Pepper Money on a 24-month fixed-term contract. This role involves acting as a trusted compliance partner, providing practical and commercially balanced advice on privacy, consumer credit, and financial services regulatory obligations. You will support the business with daily compliance queries, project advice, incident assessment, marketing reviews, and stakeholder reporting.

Responsibilities

Provide practical compliance advice, partnering with business units to offer clear, commercially balanced guidance.
Support business projects by acting as a compliance SME and ensuring compliance risks are managed from the outset.
Review marketing and customer communications to ensure they meet relevant compliance obligations.
Assess and manage compliance incidents against regulatory requirements, including consumer credit and privacy obligations.
Prepare and contribute to compliance reporting for senior management and key stakeholders.

Requirements

Strong financial services compliance experience.
Sound judgement and the ability to provide practical advice in a fast-moving environment.
Confidence working with stakeholders at different levels.
Ability to balance regulatory requirements with commercial realities.
Solid understanding of financial services regulation, including consumer credit, privacy, and relevant industry standards.
Ability to translate complex compliance requirements into practical guidance.
Ability to build trusted relationships and influence outcomes through clear communication.
Strong attention to detail and ability to assess issues carefully.
Comfortable preparing internal and external reporting and presenting information clearly.
Proven experience of around 5 years providing compliance advice within financial services.
Experience reviewing marketing and customer communications.
Experience managing compliance incidents.
