Responsibilities
- Performs set-up of processing equipment.
- Monitors, audits, and provides guidance to line operators.
- Processes test runs and prepares records, charts, and graphs of results for presentation to engineering.
- Provides technical assistance to process development and engineering personnel.
- Performs line change configuration.
- Performs corrective maintenance.
- Follows escalation procedures.
Requirements
- Typically requires an Associate’s Degree in a related field, technical training, or equivalent education and training.
- Successful completion of company-provided training may be required.
- Typically requires 1-2 years of related experience.
- Applies acquired job skills and company policies and procedures to complete assigned tasks.
- May make decisions or recommendations within a team or line.
- Decisions affect the team.
- Normally follows established procedures on routine work; requires instructions only on new assignments.
- Occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts.
- Occasionally exposed to work that requires repetitive motion.
- Moderate noise level in the work environment.
- Must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
