Responsibilities

  • Performs set-up of processing equipment.
  • Monitors, audits, and provides guidance to line operators.
  • Processes test runs and prepares records, charts, and graphs of results for presentation to engineering.
  • Provides technical assistance to process development and engineering personnel.
  • Performs line change configuration.
  • Performs corrective maintenance.
  • Follows escalation procedures.

Requirements

  • Typically requires an Associate’s Degree in a related field, technical training, or equivalent education and training.
  • Successful completion of company-provided training may be required.
  • Typically requires 1-2 years of related experience.
  • Applies acquired job skills and company policies and procedures to complete assigned tasks.
  • May make decisions or recommendations within a team or line.
  • Decisions affect the team.
  • Normally follows established procedures on routine work; requires instructions only on new assignments.
  • Occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts.
  • Occasionally exposed to work that requires repetitive motion.
  • Moderate noise level in the work environment.
  • Must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
