About the Role
Senior leadership opportunity managing complex construction and critical infrastructure programs. Shape the future of the RBA's asset portfolio while leading a high-performing project delivery team.
Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, governance, and delivery of complex property and infrastructure projects, ensuring successful outcomes across cost, quality, schedule, and operational continuity.
- Drive project delivery excellence through the application of project management, governance, and change management frameworks.
- Align project delivery with long-term organizational strategy, asset management plans, and lifecycle planning.
- Identify and manage risks, issues, and interdependencies across the project portfolio.
- Provide strategic advice on project delivery, business change, and portfolio management to support enterprise objectives.
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to influence outcomes and drive successful delivery.
- Oversee project budgets, procurement activities, and vendor performance to achieve value-for-money outcomes.
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing property and infrastructure project delivery team while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Report and present at governance forums, Steering Committees, and senior stakeholder groups.
Requirements
- Accomplished project delivery leader with significant experience managing large-scale capital works, property, or infrastructure portfolios within complex corporate, government, or infrastructure environments.
- Proven success delivering major construction, property, and infrastructure projects.
- Significant experience overseeing the development of project procurement strategies.
- Experience administering various construction contract forms, undertaking commercial negotiations, and managing vendor performance.
- Experience managing design consultants and contractors and leading teams who do.
- Experience leading projects in secure, critical, and complex operational environments.
- Demonstrated experience driving a safety culture in project delivery.
- Strong project governance, commercial management, risk management, and portfolio leadership capability.
- Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and developing future leaders.
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, including at executive level.
- Experience operating within enterprise change, transformation, or strategic delivery environments.
