About the Role
The Division Sales Manager leads all sales operations within the division, driving revenue growth, market share, and profitability through effective sales strategies, talent development, and exceptional customer experiences. This role partners cross-functionally to support strategic business objectives, foster organizational growth, and contribute to the long-term success and expansion of the division.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop New Home Sales Consultants through recruiting, coaching, performance management, and ongoing training to achieve division sales goals.
- Drive community sales performance by overseeing traffic conversion, sales pace, backlog, closings, and customer experience across all communities.
- Partner with Division President to develop and execute pricing, inventory, and incentive strategies to maximize sales volume, market share, and profitability.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and buyer demand to recommend strategic adjustments to product offerings and sales plans.
- Partner with construction, purchasing, land, marketing, mortgage, and customer care teams to align sales objectives with community launches, inventory delivery, and division business goals.
Requirements
- 5-10+ years of new home sales, residential real estate, or related housing industry experience, with a strong understanding of construction, contracts, pricing, financing, and market dynamics.
- 3-5+ years leading and developing sales teams, managing multiple communities or sales offices, driving revenue growth, forecasting performance, and consistently achieving sales targets.
- Demonstrated ability to recruit, coach, and retain top talent.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate across departments.
- Demonstrated ability to resolve customer issues.
- Demonstrated ability to leverage data and CRM tools.
- Demonstrated ability to execute sales and marketing strategies that enhance the homebuyer experience.
