About the Role
RSL LifeCare is seeking a Volunteer Manager to lead their Volunteer Program across residential aged care, retirement living, and veteran services. This role is crucial in supporting veterans and seniors, aligning with the organization's vision of creating proud communities.
Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver RSL LifeCare's volunteer management framework, policies, and processes.
- Manage volunteer recruitment, onboarding, training, engagement, and recognition programs.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and volunteer management standards.
- Maintain volunteer records and reporting, including training and compliance requirements.
- Support managers and teams who work with volunteers across the organisation.
- Coordinate volunteer involvement in key events, including ANZAC Day, Remembrance Day, and community initiatives.
- Drive continuous improvement and implement best-practice volunteer management initiatives.
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external community partners.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years' experience in volunteer management, recreation therapy, leisure and lifestyle, or a related field.
- Relevant qualifications in Volunteer Management, Human Resources, Management, Health Sciences, or similar.
- Strong knowledge of the National Standards for Volunteer Involvement.
- Experience managing compliance and risk in a regulated environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and volunteer management systems.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- A compassionate, people-focused approach with the ability to build meaningful relationships.
- A valid Police Check and/or NDIS Worker Screening Check, as required for the role.
