About the Role

This role involves owning and optimizing enterprise-level security programs, specifically Enterprise Vulnerability Management (EVM) and Disaster Recovery (DR), within GE Vernova's Power segment. The position focuses on driving process simplification, automation, and leveraging AI to enhance program impact and reduce governance burden.

Responsibilities

  • Lead cyber vulnerability management, including identification, tracking, and resolution of vulnerabilities in line with EVM and NIS2 requirements.
  • Maintain the risk register, manage escalations, drive root cause analysis, and report on status and trends.
  • Drive governance and process improvement by identifying inefficiencies, redesigning processes, and deploying AI-enabled workflows.
  • Support risk management and policy by assisting in risk assessments, documenting findings, and maintaining IT policies and procedures.
  • Build reporting and visibility through dashboards and reports for senior leadership on IT risk posture, compliance, and control effectiveness.
  • Enable a culture of awareness by developing training materials and coordinating compliance sessions.
  • Support audit readiness by organizing documentation and responding to evidence requests.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or 1-3 years of equivalent practical experience in Cyber, IT Audit, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience with foundational knowledge of security and application controls.
  • Hands-on curiosity with AI tools and workflow automation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Clear, confident written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate across functions in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
  • Proficiency in data analysis, including Microsoft Excel.
  • Willingness to develop skills in reporting tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
