About the Role

This role involves the design, specification, and delivery of structural engineering services for various projects including commercial, industrial, data centre, infrastructure, and defence buildings. You will design structural systems and foundations using concrete, steel, and other engineered materials.

Responsibilities

  • Perform all conventional aspects of structural engineering.
  • Evaluate, select, and apply standard engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria.
  • Make minor adaptations and modifications using engineering judgment.
  • Prepare and check design calculations using manual methods or computer applications (Space Gass, RAPT, RAM Concept, ETABs).
  • Prepare and check structural calculations, technical reports, and specifications.
  • Deliver work according to budget, schedule, and quality requirements.
  • Liaise with peers, subordinates, clients, suppliers, statutory authorities, and other consultants.

Requirements

  • Experience in the practice of structural engineering in a consulting environment.
  • Background in design of commercial, industrial, data centre, infrastructure and/or defence buildings.
  • Full Australian working rights.
  • Ability to obtain baseline clearance.
