About the Role

As a Casual - Care Services Employee, you will partner with residents to support their daily routine, lifestyle, and choices, ensuring they feel safe, valued, respected, and engaged. You will provide direct care and assistance with activities of daily living, personal care, and household tasks within a supportive team at St Vincent’s Care Services Bronte.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with residents to support their daily routine, lifestyle, and choices.
  • Ensure residents feel safe, valued, respected, and engaged.
  • Provide direct care and assistance to residents with all activities of daily living.
  • Assist with personal care needs, including personal hygiene.
  • Attend to the daily running of the household.

Requirements

  • Certificate III in Individual Support/Aged Care or similar qualifications essential.
  • 6 months+ experience in a similar role with residential aged care experience highly regarded.
  • Must be available to work multiple shifts through the week.
  • Experience with AutumnCare (or similar software) with ability to maintain excellent records.
  • Understanding of Aged Care, resident rights/responsibilities with ability to follow the care plan.
  • Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check may be a requirement of this role.
