About the Role
Apple's Labor & Employment Law team is seeking an employment attorney to provide practical, day-to-day legal support on issues affecting a global workforce. You will partner with HR and business leaders on employee and labor relations, support investigations, and apply employment law to real-world situations.
Responsibilities
- Support HR and management on day-to-day employee relations issues
- Assist with workplace investigations under the guidance of senior counsel
- Help manage outside counsel on litigation and agency charges
- Contribute to legal training for HR and management teams
- Partner with Human Resources and business leaders on employee and labor relations matters
- Support internal investigations
- Apply employment law to real situations across a fast-moving, global business
- Work alongside more senior counsel on litigation matters and administrative charges
- Build strong working relationships with HR and management as a responsive, reliable legal partner
Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant legal experience in labor and employment law
- Solid working knowledge of federal and state labor and employment laws and regulations (including ADA, ADEA, FMLA, FLSA, NLRA, etc.)
- JD or equivalent degree
- Admission to at least one US state bar
