About the Role
TGA of Southern Westchester is seeking enthusiastic and reliable coaches to lead and support after-school programs for children aged 5-15 in golf, tennis, and pickleball. The role involves teaching sports fundamentals in a fun, engaging, and safe environment, fostering confidence, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
Responsibilities
- Lead or support after-school programs for children ages 5–15
- Teach fun, age-appropriate drills, games, and activities
- Keep children engaged, active, and excited to participate
- Create a safe, positive, and encouraging environment
- Build confidence, teamwork, and sportsmanship
- Communicate professionally with students, parents, and school staff
Requirements
- Must be 18+ for Lead Coach positions
- Solid understanding of at least one sport: golf, tennis, or pickleball
- Passion for sports and working with children
- Energetic, positive, and reliable
- Strong communication skills
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to successfully complete a background check
