About the Role
As a Project Manager, you will take full ownership of every restoration project, leading from kickoff to completion. You will scope losses, prepare detailed estimates, and manage budgets to ensure profitability and adherence to schedule. Your role involves coordinating teams, subcontractors, and resources while upholding safety and quality standards. You will engage with homeowners, adjusters, and insurers to build trust and manage expectations. Additionally, you will mentor junior project managers and supervisors.
Responsibilities
- Take full ownership of every restoration project, leading from kickoff to completion.
- Scope losses, prepare detailed estimates, and manage budgets.
- Keep teams, subcontractors, and resources working in sync.
- Engage directly with homeowners, adjusters, and insurers.
- Stay ahead of potential issues and solve challenges quickly.
- Mentor junior project managers and supervisors.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a Project Manager in the restoration, insurance or residential construction industry.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects independently from start to finish.
- Strong knowledge of restoration and construction practices, safety regulations, and building codes.
- Experience reading plans, developing scopes, and negotiating with clients and adjusters.
- Skilled communicator with strong organization and time management abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, mobile applications, and Xactimate.
- IICRC certifications: WRT and FSRT.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving abstract.
- Must be able to participate in a rotating on-call schedule.
- Ability to complete work activities which may include physical labour, material handling and lifting, climbing ladders, wearing a respirator, and working in tight spaces.
