About the Role

The Brand Manager will drive the flawless execution of the global brand and creative strategy, shaping perception, building durable brand equity, and amplifying the company’s platform vision across all audiences and touchpoints. This role is responsible for the seamless execution of our global brand strategy, creative/campaign development, and brand governance, ensuring a cohesive and compelling expression of Palo Alto Networks’ value.

Responsibilities

  • Leads the execution of global, innovative, and high impact campaigns and programs in partnership with cross-functional teams.
  • Writes creative briefs and collaborates with creative and media teams.
  • Partners effectively with Product Marketing, Media, PR, Legal, Finance, and internal/external creative agencies.
  • Executes on the brand strategy to drive business results.
  • Ensures the voice of the customer is consistently incorporated into brand and creative concepts.
  • Ensures brand messages effectively capture the PANW voice and drive brand equity.
  • Influences stakeholders throughout the campaign development journey to ensure input, alignment, and understanding.
  • Contributes to a team culture of highly creative and ambitious marketers.
  • Drives the flawless execution of the global brand strategy, shifting from fragmented product narratives to a cohesive, platform-level story.
  • Drives integrated campaign/creative development against the company’s brand narrative and architecture.
  • Executes on the full year modern marketing plan.
  • Partners with the internal Creative team to execute an AI-first creative strategy.
  • Leads the execution of creative strategy and production for integrated, 360-degree global campaigns.
  • Partners with working teams to develop strategically sound marketing briefs.
  • Ensures brand standards, visual systems, and tone of voice are executed flawlessly.
  • Leads the execution of the executive thought leadership platform, shaping editorial narratives and flagship content.
  • Owns brand health metrics, including awareness, consideration, recall, and sentiment.
  • Leverages data, research, and insight to refine campaign and creative development processes.
  • Drives documented post-mortems after major work launches to incorporate learnings.

Requirements

  • 8-10+ years of brand marketing experience with a focus on integrated digital creative/campaign development, execution, paid media, and experiential within a leading technology environment.
  • Proven ability to own campaign development, deliver on anticipated outcomes, and shape corporate & product narratives.
  • Demonstrated understanding of brand building principles and the consumer journey.
  • Outstanding creative judgment and ability to independently guide creative teams.
  • Proven analytical skills with experience extracting and interpreting campaign performance data.
  • Excellent written, verbal communication & organizational skills.
  • Ability to articulate brand messages clearly and compellingly.
  • A creative problem solver who thrives in ambiguity and pushes the boundaries of traditional enterprise tech marketing.
