About the Role

In this role, you will guide clients through the entire M&A deal cycle, from strategy and due diligence to financing, technology, and successful transaction implementation and integration. Our team supports clients in the strategic, financial, and legal aspects of buying, selling, or merging companies.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients strategically and operationally on preparing and executing complex change processes to contribute to sustainable decisions and future competitiveness.
• Analyze inorganic growth potential, identify M&A targets, evaluate strategic fits and synergies, and outline necessary business model changes.
• Provide comprehensive advice on company acquisitions, from integration strategy to operating model definition and implementation.
• Conceptually and operationally support the sale and spin-off of company parts across all business functions and prepare carve-out financials for transactions.
• Assess the operational performance, potential value enhancements, market positioning, and supply chain of targets.
• Engage empathetically, motivationally, and goal-orientedly in client workshops, meetings, presentations, and coaching of junior employees.

Requirements

• Excellent degree in business administration, industrial engineering, business informatics, or a comparable field, ideally with an MBA or PhD.
• Two to five years of relevant professional experience.
• Strong business administration understanding.
• Knowledge in M&A, PMI, Carve-out, ODD (in at least one area).
• Affinity for numbers.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Willingness to travel (including internationally).
• Enjoy communication and presentation for demanding audiences in German and English (fluent in spoken and written).
