About the Role

The Security Supervisor position reports directly to the Security Duty Manager and is responsible for supporting with the supervision of the operational functions of the Security Department ensuring an effective, efficient and professional operation. This is a fantastic opportunity to showcase your leadership skills within Security.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the day-to-day activities of the security team, ensuring seamless operations and adherence to organisational policies and procedures
• Exhibit high visibility, hands-on leadership, proactively engaging with team members, driving improvements, and implementing innovative solutions to achieve organisational success and align team goals
• Foster a culture of excellence by providing ongoing training, mentorship, and professional development opportunities for your team
• Respond to and manage security incidents with professionalism, composure, and sound judgment, ensuring swift and effective resolution
• Monitor and investigate all incidents and compile written reports and operational logs

Requirements

• Proven experience in a supervisory or managerial role within the security industry
• Comprehensive knowledge of security best practices, risk assessment methodologies, and relevant regulatory frameworks
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with diverse stakeholders
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities, with a talent for remaining calm under pressure
• Advanced experience in Conflict Resolution and Incident Management
• Highly experienced Security Officer who takes pride in ensuring your team are providing a safe and unforgettable experience for our guests
• Exceptional attention to detail and a collaborative approach, you work to develop relationships across departments
• Understand the importance of inspiring and motivating others and can tailor your style to meet the needs of our large and diverse Security team
