About the Role

Drive commercial growth across Japan by leading sales strategy, identifying opportunities to maximize revenue and market share, and building strategic partnerships with key stakeholders. This role is critical in driving commercial performance and strengthening Qantas' position as the preferred airline in Japan.

Responsibilities

  • Drive revenue growth and market performance across Japan’s agency, corporate and organiser segments.
  • Build and maintain strategic partnerships with travel trade, corporate customers and industry stakeholders.
  • Develop and execute sales and distribution strategies that deliver sustainable business growth.
  • Lead, coach and develop a high-performing sales team.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Achieve business objectives and support Qantas' long-term success in the region.

Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years' experience in sales, business development or account management.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Japanese language.
  • Proven success leading sales teams and delivering commercial growth.
  • Demonstrated experience managing strategic customer relationships and complex commercial negotiations.
  • Must have the right to work in Japan without restriction or sponsorship.
  • Resume must be submitted in both Japanese and English, including a photo attachment.
