Responsibilities

  • Define and maintain the core messaging framework, differentiated by segment, persona, and geography.
  • Lead messaging for new module launches and product milestones, ensuring consistency across all channels.
  • Build and maintain a library of sales enablement collateral, including solution briefs, one-pagers, and battle cards.
  • Develop sales plays for key segments and partner with Sales to reduce time-to-pitch for new hires.
  • Own the product messaging on the company website, optimizing for human readers and AI-generated responses.
  • Run a structured win/loss program, analyzing data and synthesizing themes to inform Product, Sales, and leadership.
  • Translate competitive intelligence into clear positioning guidance and battle cards.
  • Build relationships with GRC-adjacent analysts and manage analyst briefings.
  • Position the company for inclusion in relevant industry research.
  • Identify and cultivate relationships with practitioners and influencers shaping AI-generated recommendations.

Requirements

  • Four or more years in product marketing, preferably in B2B SaaS.
  • Demonstrable experience owning a messaging framework end-to-end.
  • Strong writing skills, producing clear, specific copy free of generic SaaS claims.
  • Experience working closely with Sales, including building enablement materials.
  • Comfortable with data, including pulling CRM insights and interpreting win/loss patterns.
  • Ability to make a case with evidence.
  • GRC, compliance, risk, or adjacent regulated-industry experience is a plus.
  • Analyst relations experience is desirable.
  • Familiarity with how LLMs surface vendor recommendations is desirable.
  • Experience marketing a multi-module or platform product to multiple personas is an advantage.
  • Strong writing skills, with an ability to identify and correct generic SaaS messaging.
  • Ability to think in terms of buyer decision-making needs.
  • Comfortable making decisions with incomplete information.
  • Ability to ship products that move the business forward.
  • Collaborates well across functions.
  • Willing to push back when a brief is not right.
